A SELECTION OF COMMENTS ABOUT THE INDUCTIONS TRAINING WORKSHOP FROM THE ABOVE

Steve Roberts of London :

Thank you so much for providing such an informative and interesting day. It really was a good day, and I wish you every  success for your future workshops.

It was really nice meeting the members and students as well as yourself and Jonathan, all of whom were actively involved in your training and enjoying themselves. As you say in your subject heading, it was "A lovely time".

Today was the first day at my relocated consultancy. I could hear your words all morning - "take this information back and use it" - so I did! And I couldn't be more pleased. As far as I am concerned (and I'm sure I speak for the others who were present) I have had first class training from you at an excellent price. I hope you and the UFH go from strength to strength.

Regards, Steve Roberts

First of all I would like to say how wonderful it was to meet you and the others at this weekend's workshop in Birmingham.

I will admit that before I arrived I was quite nervous about the course. However, within minutes I was totally at ease with everyone and found myself totally relaxed - something that is very important  in Hypnotherapy. :)

I found the workshop both informative and extremely helpful. The practical side of the workshop was indeed for me a very important part of the course. Theory is one thing but actually doing the practical is another. The other attendees were helpful, supportive and very friendly. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all and wish them all the best for the future.

I would also like to thank you personally for all your help and advice during the course. You are doing a wonderful job and wish you all the best.

For anyone who hasn't attended this course I would like to suggest that you take part in the next one. These courses are valuable tools of the trade and not only do you learn more about Hypnosis, but you make some very good friends too :)

Once again, thanks to everyone.
Gilda.

I've been using some of the techniques you taught with great success, especially the universal induction. I use a biofeedback monitor when I'm working and the readings have definitely shown an improvement in the depths of trance achieved, especially in a first session. I'm still not using the rapid techniques much in the clinic - personal style perhaps - but have demonstrated them to a few people and found them Very effective when used.

The course on Induction and Application is a one day training seminar that gives practical experience in several different types of induction.  I found this day most useful, helping to build confidence in using different inductions through practical experience.  It is also fantastic to have the experience of the trance state for oneself.  I now feel more confident that I can induce the trance state in clients, and am able to describe the experience for them.

Just wanted to give you some feed-back regarding your Weight Loss Master class in Birmingham last week. It was a most memorable day filled with so much
information and fun! I love your approach, very direct and clear, making all you said very easy to understand and take on board.

Whilst I am a novice at hypnosis I was delighted to find that I in no way felt inadequate and you made it very easy for us to learn and to empathise with the
problem, making us more able to relate to and gain rapport with a client with these particular issues.

There is no doubt that looking at the psychological aspects which may be the root cause of why people suffer with weight difficulties can help us to deal
more effectively and efficiently with what needs to be 'done' in a session and I was impressed with your knowledge, insight and sympathetic attitude to the
problem. Also the huge manual you gave us 'stuffed' with information will be a huge asset to progressing our own knowledge and insight.

I was totally impressed with your ability to place everybody in trance and also felt very privileged to receive your personal care and expertise as an
individual. It was so kind of you to give individual attention to each one of us as you intuited into each of our needs and addressed them - very clever and
invaluable and we all benefited as a group as we watched the individual changes occur - amazing and very clever.

I know I have changed for the better as a result attending the course, and look forward to more opportunities to benefit from your very personal and
special brand of magic!!

With love and thanks,
Jane Garner

I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's workshop - the learning, the presentation, the company, all of it.

I found the way you dealt with Sharon's spider phobia particularly interesting as I have someone with a frog phobia waiting for some eventual action from me, and also Patrick's chocolate problem. As I'm on Unit 7, they both fell into placed immediately, and it was great to see exactly how to go about them. I generally get a pretty satisfactory relaxation response and successful deepening ... but I'm not sure I've put anyone in a deep enough trance to, for example, attempt to eliminate a frog or any other phobia.

Getting the chance to work on and with other people was also very helpful, but the regression one (until you found the script for me in the book) left me floundering a bit. Paul told me that one, though, had worked very well on him when I did it. The Stephen Brooks' induction was very interesting,

Being the first time I have attended a practical day, I was very nervous about what to expect. But, everyone was really friendly and Richard made me feel very much at ease from the very beginning.  It was a very enjoyable day from which I feel I have gained a tremendous amount of confidence to practice, practice and practice!  Before going on the induction day I lacked confidence in being able to try out inductions, but after having gained this experience I feel confident and positive about doing well on the course.  I would recommend this day to anyone and would definitely want to attend again as a refresher in the future

I Had a great day and enjoyed meeting the rest of the gang.

The day was a little basic for me as a very experienced therapist but did manage to pick up on a few useful snippets, just as you said I would.

There was a lot of information in the course and I feel you did very well in covering it all in just one day, you have obviously polished your presentation and time it very well.

The Course content was very on the ball with no ‘fluff’, very hard to say that with regard to the majority of the courses available today. and the Course manual was full of useful information, again wit the ‘fluff’ omitted

I would have liked to have had a go at the loosing of the number 7 and a few more of the practical aspects but obviously time was a factor.

If I am honest your price does not reflect the quality of the course, you should consider increasing your prices a little, although I must admit it was a breath of fresh air not to get ripped off………again.  Conference facilities were adequate and the location was easy to find and the hotel accommodation was fine.
