receieve many questions from prospective students, and we use this
space to present answers to the questions which are most commonly
asked of us. If you have a question which does not appear here,
please do not hesitate to contact us at any time, we are always
happy to help in any way we can.

Do
UFH Courses offer a recognised qualification?
The courses are recognised by the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy
and The Society of Hypnotherapy Clinicians.Upon completion of the
"UFH Foundation Course" students are awarded a diploma
of certification allowing them to use the letters A.ufh and D.hyp.
Students completing the "Advanced Professional Course"
are awarded a diploma of certification and accreditation with the
right to use the letters A.ufh and D.hyp. adv. and automatically
recieve one years free membership to the Professional
Board of Hypnotherapy and the United Fellowship of Hypnotherapists.

What
Happens If I Fail The Examination?
The stucture of this course is such that, students are required
to participate in preliminary tests and exercises. This helps us
here at the UFH to be able to monitor and assess your progress and
understanding of the course on an ongoing basis. TOP
By working
in this way, students study easily and effectively towards successful
completion of the exam. In the unlikely event of a failure, the
UFH guarantee to continue training you until you do achieve a pass,
this additional training is free of charge. TOP
How
Do I Access The SRC and Help Services?
The UFH student help service is provided by e-mail and is available
to registered students 24hrs a day. Students are given full details
of the service and how to use it upon enrolment. Students are also
provided with a special access code which enables them to access
the student resource centre within this web site. The SRC is NOT
Available to Un-Registered Students. TOP
Do UFH Members Have Access To A Help
Service?
Yes, This is an integral part of the UFH Student and Members Services,
and is provided by email and through the students and members bi-monthly
newsletter "Visions". which is published in the Resource
Centre of our main web site. TOP
I Am already A Trained Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist,
Can I Still Join The UFH?
Yes, Anyone who is trained and qualified in Hypnosis and or Hypnotherapy
can apply for membership to the UFH Association, you do not have
to be practicing as a professional therapist to obtain associate
membership. TOP
What About Professional Insurance?
All professional Practicing Therapists must have or obtain "professional
Indemnity Insurance" before entry to the fellowship will be
granted. Those who do not currently work in a professional capacity
can apply for associate membership, in this case, professional indemnity
is not required. TOP
How Do I get Professional Insurance?
Professional Liability Insurance for Professional Hypnotherapy is
Available from the UFH Association at a special subsidised rate
for UFH Members (currently £62.50p per year for One Million
Pounds of Cover). TOP
How Much Does IT Cost To Join The
UFH Association ?
Membership to the Association is currently £25 ($40) per year.
Members receive many benefits from the Association including, Bi-Monthly
Newsletter - M.ufh Accreditation - Use of the Association Logo -
Membership I.D - Discounts on hypnotic products and seminars - free
continued professional development program's. etc. TOP
What
Happens If I Enrol For Training Then Decide Not To Continue?
It is not the policy of this organisation to force you to have something
which you niether want or need. You are free to cease training at
any point. If you only take part of the course, and then decide
later that the course is not right for you, then we prefer that
you discontinue training. TOP
There
is absolutely no obligation with this course. if you should decide
later that you have changed your mind and you do wish to continue
training, then you can do so by simply carrying on where you left
off, without penalty. There are never any additional costs involved
and you are never penalised for stopping and starting your training
at any time you wish. TOP
Can
I Take The Course If I Dont Want To Practice professionaly?
Yes you can still take the course. If you want to learn about hypnosis
but do not want to practice as a professional therapist, the course
is the same. The course will teach you everything you need to know
to become proficient in hypnotics - practicing as a professional
is only one option. Many students take the course for their own
satisfaction or to simply help themselves, family and friends. TOP
Do
I Have To Train With The UFH Association?
Absolutely not. There are 100s of excellent courses on the market,
all of which have their own uniqueness. You are free to train with
whom ever you wish, you can also join the UFH as an associate whilst
your training with another organisation or course. TOP
How
do I get help with my course if I need it?
All students
can obtain help and advise about any aspect of their training with
the UFH by contacting us by email or by writing to us at the address
provided. the student support group is also available for students
to use, in order to obtain help from other students if they wish.
